Microsoft Word For Mac 2018 School

Had the following problem with my Macbook Word 2016 [Version15.5. (151008)], a having an valid account:

Every day after peering up my Macbook to use Word 2016, I get the 'Activation' message on the Word screen. This does not happen for my Excel 2016, or Powerpoint 2016. the Word problem also does NOT happen with my iPAD, or iPhone, or the 2 PCs running Windows 10.

I initially had problems with the Microsoft AutoUpdate where my Word 2016 (Version 15.2) would not update to the latest version released (Version 15.4) at the time. At this time, I did NOT have the Activation problem. I decided to uninstall my Office 2016 (which was not a good move), as the problem, I later discovered that one had to not only click the Red button to close Word, but had to do the Word Quit - being a first time user of the Mac. This issue was resolved by me.

However, on re-installing my Office and successfully activating my package, getting the 'tick' in the green circle, the next day when I tried using my Word 2016 I got the famous Activate message (not being connected to the Internet). So I connected to the Internet and the message disappeared and all else went well.

On quitting Word 2016, correctly and shutting my Macbook, on the next day, low behold, again I got the Activation Message. This only happened for Word 2016 on my Macbook and not for the other office apps.

I read a lot of solutions on Internet, after getting nothing of help from the chat Help Desk. I have now reported this situation numerous times without getting any solution to the problem.

I am sure that there are now a lot of users frustrated with this same issue. I told Microsoft that I will continue complaining until they do something to resolve this problem. It seems to be only with Word 2016, and only on the Mac, in my case Macbook (El Capitan, with the latest updates). MICROSOFT, GET THIS ISSUE SORTED OUT!!!!!
